"SOLARTE" NEGROAMARO

This Italian region probably has a denser concentration of vines than any other place on earth.  Not long ago, Apulia produced more wine than any other in the rust-colored soil of its plains and low plateaus that stretch from the spur to the heel of the Italian boot. The climate is warm and dry along the coast becoming relatively cool in the interior. The hot Salento peninsula have more consistent harvests than more temperate northern zones. Solarte Negroamaro is a beautiful deep garnet colour wine, loaded with a spicy black cherry/black berry fruit balanced with soft tannins. Its touch of mineral and youthful finish makes it a fine companion to grilled foods, red sauces, pizzas and matured cheeses.
