Since 1855 Ferliga’s Family has been producing top quality wines in Northern Italy, and established Azienda Agricola Abruzzo in 1954 on 120 hs along the Tronto Hill, which streches towards the Adriatic Sea where they grow vines, olives and wheat.
Among the sweet harmony of the hill, under clean skies by the sea breeze, the vine takes its root in a soil made of different stratifications of sedimentary clays, typical of the morphology of this territory that turns into wine of the traditional delicate taste like the land of Abruzzo.
Cantine Ferliga also makes a range of wines of the Garda Lake area, among which the characteristic Garda Classico and the famous Lugana stand out.
Introduced to the region at the beginning of the 19th century, the Montepulciano variety rapidly adapted to local conditions and quickly diffused.
The production area of this wine includes the territories of the regions four provinces and in particular of Teramo which environmental conditions present a certain uniformity.
