"ESTOLA" TEMPRANILLO RESERVE
PRODUCER: BODEGAS AYUSO SL DO LA MANCHA

Produced with a selection of the best Cencibel grapes. After fermentation, it is aged in American oak barrels, in deep cellars, in order to fully develop its extraordinary character. Cherry-red colour, with brick-red tones. Within the overall excellent oak matured qualities, it has a warm, intense aroma with fruit notes.

Full, rounded palate, followed by the balance between the characteristics of the variety and those acquired in the course of oak-barrel-ageing. Good with roasts, red meats in general, game and semi-matured cheeses. Should be served in glasses which allow its qualities to be appreciated, and at a temperature of approximately 18ºC

COMPANY PROFILE

Founded in 1947, Ayuso is a large and prestigious family firm turning out around 175,000 Hl of wine, which is reckoned to be among the best in the modern-wines category of La Mancha.

This flat, semi-arid plain is hot and high, and only sheep and the toughest grapes survive here. According to a Castillian proverb, suffers from five months of winter and seven months of hell.

Sheep farming is La Mancha’s biggest industry, and the local sheep’s-milk cheese, queso Manchego, became a generic term for similar cheeses all over the world.
