The Bremerton story began in 1985 when Craig and Mignonne Willson purchased the property and established a long term restoration and development plan.

Langhorne Creek is unique in that it sits on the rich soil of the ancient Bremer River flood plain. Fresh cool evening breezes from Lake Alexandrina provide a micro climate of mild to warm summer days and cool evenings perfect for the long ripening of the grapes producing intense and sought after cool climate flavours.

Matilda Plains Winery is located in Langhorne Creek, South Australia, where Shiraz and Cabernet have been traditionally grown for over 100 years.

This wine has been carefully blended to provide us with a generous and well balanced palate displaying mouth filling fruit, complementing soft well integrated tannins and a lingering finish.
