“PALLINI” RASPICELLO
LAZIO - ITALY
PRODUCER: ILAR SPA (EST 1875)

In the small village of Abruzzi, home of the Pallini family, shepherds would pick wild raspberries on their way home. These berries were made into a special liqueur the recipe for which was handed down from generation to generation. The Pallinis enhanced this basic recipe to create Raspicello.

Blueberry and blackberry currant, grown in the rugged, mountainous Abruzzi region of Italy, were selected to soften the flavour of the wild raspberries.
0The perfect blend of these berries is the secret to the bouquet and complex taste of this liqueur.

What the experts say: `Pallini Raspicello is a rare delighy. It has a ruby, jewell-toned appearance and a silky, lightweight body. The aroma of wild vine-ripened raspberries is glorious. The bouquet more than sets the stage for what is somewhat demure yet remarkable smooth. As the liqueur washes over the palate, the fresh fruit flavours begin to grow in intensity, with the raspberry character attracting all of the early reviews. There are notes of other soft berries in the palate that are subtle, yet discernible for those who care to notice. The melange of delectable flavours linger on the palate for an impressively long time`
