“DOMAINE ST REMY” CREMANT BRUT
Alsace is picturesque wine country. The ribbon of vineyards is broken by small villages, full of tall, overhanging half-timbered houses, decorated in the summer with brightly planted window boxes.
Although vines has been grown in Alsace probably since the Romans and certainly since the Merovingians in the eighth and nineth centuries, the development of the Alsace vineyards as we know it today is relatively new, dating from after the FWW.
The Appellation Controlee system reached Alsace in 1962.
Discovering Domain Saint Remy is an intimate way of exploring Rhineland history and culture. It is also to enter a beautiful property located 5km south of Colmar, where you will find all the family treasures which has been passed on from generation to generation.
Cremant d`’Alsace is a methode champenoise sparkling wine made from Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois grapes grown in the Alsace AC area. The appellation is fairly new and came in with the 1976 harvest.
DSR Cremant Cuvee Prestige exhibits an elegant, appealing and delicate fruity bouquet. On the palate is dry, well-balanced and attractively fresh.
