For over 20 years, Cellier Le Brun have been dedicated to crafting the finest quality Methode Traditionnelle wines available in New Zealand. The adherence to traditional technique since the winery's inception has enabled Daniel Le Brun to become one of New Zealand's most respected Methode Traditionnelle wines, recognised for its superb distinctive style and character.

To maintain quality and consistency, a winery with an authentic underground cellar was established to allow the wines to mature in a cool regulated environment. This original feature is enhanced by the winery's highly regarded winemaker, Allan McWilliams, whose craftsmanship and skill ensures that Daniel Le Brun wines will continue to rival the world's finest champagnes
The fruit for this wine was hand harvested from Pinot Noir clones 5 and 10-5 grown in Renwick, Marlborough, at sugar levels of 23.5 – 24.5º Brix.

A moderately complex palate showing ripe plum and strawberry flavours supported by nutty oak. The wine exhibits a rounded mid-palate texture and fine-grained tannin adding structure allowing the wine to improve with up to three years cellaring.
