This small "Appellation d`Origine" divided by the river Duero, `the river of wine`, has consolidated its status as the standard bearer of the most promising and interesting wines of the country.
The grape that gives these wines their character, the Tinta de Toro, is highly considered by eonologists and gourmets alike.

The Yllera Family, now in its 6th generation of vine growers and wine makers, owns a group of wineries located in Rueda, Ribera del Duero, Toro, Castilla-Leon and also in South America.

Cepage: 100% Tinta de Toro from 50-80 years-old-vines. Aged 9 months.

TN: Beautiful deep red colour displaying purple tints. Clear and brilliant. Explosive aromas with a modern, elegant bouquet of ripe black fruits against a backdrop of subtle oak notes, spices and minerals such as flint. Intense aromas of coffee, vanilla, cocoa and toffee.
Powerfully tannic on the palate, yet velvety and long. Delicate acidity, distinctive, and a good lingering finish. Excellent, round, full, balanced and long-lasting.
